Brass Nipples are used for Water in Commercial Plumbing, Oil, Gas and Steam Applications, and OEM Applications.
Also, Brass Nipple Piping Products are in Demand for Maintenance and Repair Purposes
Materials: Brass CA360 (some steel)
Application: fuel and oil lines, automotive brake, LP and natural gas connections
Temperatures: –65°F to 250°F
Recommended Uses: copper, brass, aluminum and welded steel hydraulic tubing Working
Generally made in accordance with SAEJ512 and designed for use with copper, brass, aluminum and welded steel hydraulic tubing and flared like S.A.E. 45°flared fittings. A long nut is useful for excessive vibration. To make a connection, place the nut over the tubing, threaded end toward the tubing end to be flared. Flare tubing to create a 45°flare. The tube flare is clamped between nut and flare seat of body when screwed together. When assembly is tightened with a wrench, a leak-proof metal-to-metal joint is created.
Materials: brass CA360
Applications: fuel line, fluid and vacuum systems
Working Pressure: up to 150 PSI. Hose clamp is required when working pressure exceeds 100 PSI.
Temperature: –40°F to 250°F
Manufactured for low and medium pressure, these fittings are quick connecting and have high resistance to vibration damage.
Materials: Brass CA360
Applications: LP Gas assemblies.
Working Pressure: 250 psi maximum based on hose/tubing size.
Temperature: –65°F to 200°F
Always consult hose and/or tubing specifications for media compatibility, pressure and temparature rating.
